influxdb software package provides Scalable datastore for metrics, events, and real-time analytics, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install influxdb
influxdb is installed in your system.
Make ensure the influxdb package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep influxdb *
You will get with influxdb package name, version, architecture and description in a table
